ScannerComp, continued

Whew!!  If you think that modding the wires inside a "normal" mid-tower computer case is fun, just try it inside something this size!!  With the big ol' window located on the top of this thing, I sure couldn't let it look crummy on the inside, could I??  Let's look at some more pics.

So what do ya think?  Does it still look like a scanner?  Am I cheating, and just showing you the first picture again??  Heck no!!  Check out the inside!!

Yeah, the desk is a mess, but what the heck are you looking at that stuff for?? You're supposed to be checking out the mod of the inside of the case!!

Here's the front of the case....see the cd drive?
Yeah, the power and reset button aren't so great, but I robbed them off an el-cheapo case I had.  I'll probably get some paint, and give 'em some color so they blend in a bit better.  Notice the power and hard drive led's on the left side of the front?  I robbed those from the same case, and just drilled a hole in the front of this case, stuck 'em through til they were just about flush, and gave 'em a dab of super- glue on the inside of the case.

Here's a pic of the left side of the case, where I've got two 50mm fans (robbed from some old socket 7 cpu coolers I had laying around) exhausting air from the case, and the switch for the bright white cold cathode fluorescent light (CCFL) that's inside the case.  This is also where the motherboard connections are made, for the keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.

Still don't believe this thing works?
